I was a researcher for the CLEAR (Creative Learning) EC Socrates project '98 - 2000. This involved me in identifying good practice in the use of drama in UK schools and other organisations; creating multimedia presentations of their work; working with partners in Athens, Vienna and Rome to produce a joint CD ROM and handbook to disseminate our findings to teachers throughout Greece, Austria and Italy and present our findings in various media. My M.Ed in Telematics (Sheffield University, '98 - 2000) generated several research projects which included:

• the design, construction and evaluation of a collaborative on line 'adventure' (www.marshal.co.uk/telematics/workshop3)
• for my dissertation, a substantial action research project exploring the support of home tutored students via the internet (www.marshal.co.uk/connect).

Recent short research project for BECTa on the use of generic software to promote creativity.

Current research, again for BECTA, includes an investigation of the needs of the educational software industry in the UK.
